Korean Dentist Extracts Volvo Masters Amateur World Title
Korean club golfer Choul Hee-lee is sitting on top of the world tonight after being crowned Volvo Masters Amateur champion of the world after surviving a torrid day at Finca Cortesín, venue for Ross Fisher’s Volvo World Match Play Championship victory on Sunday.

That is why Martha Britt from Volvo Trucks North America has been on a fact-finding visit to the Volvo World Match Play Championship and Volvo Masters Amateur Final, with a view to Volvo USA adding to the commonwealth of nations taking part in the world’s most prestigious amateur golf series.

At precisely 09.30am on Tuesday 3rd November, 44 hours after Volvo World Match Play Championship finalists Ross Fisher and Anthony Kim teed off on the first tee at Finca Cortesín for the afternoon round of their epic duel, Spaniard José Manuel Sãnes Mir and Bengt Andersson from Sweden were standing on the self same tee, in equally idyllic Andalcucían weather for their final round of the Volvo Masters Amateur.

With the exception of one many, Lee Choul-hee from Korea, the players at the 2009 Volvo Masters Amateur found points at a premium at La Quinta.
